Founded in 2013, The Waterfront Project, Inc. (WFP),
is a legal center providing free civil legal representation,
assistance and advocacy to asset-limited, income-constrained, homeless or disenfranchised New Jersey residents.
We have grown and have expanded our services to include
housing counseling, mortgage and foreclosure counseling,
tenant legal defense, housing conditions, and
legal advocacy and representation for survivors of sexual assault and violence.
